So we are just hanging out, getting fluids, etc. in preparation for Monday's surgery for a new PICC line and the tonsillectomy. It's a bummer that we had to wait 3 extra days in the hospital because of contaminated blood, but at least it wasn't a true infection, thankfully!
However, we miss home after being here for 4 days, knowing we have about 6 more to go.

Please pray that his mast cells tolerate the surgery, and that he will be stable throughout the beginning, middle, and end of surgery.
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday are the scheduled dates for the octreotide scan to look for a gastronoma--a neuroendocrine tumor. Please pray that he doesn't have one and that he tolerates 3 additional days of sedation well.
We are so thankful that he doesn't have a PICC/blood infection!

And a special visitor made him super happy....

I love my happy boy. He has the best attitude out of all 4 of us and he's the patient. He always amazes me :).
