Did I mention that I heart Pinterest?

I heart it a lot.
The sign above was a Pinterest find and I have to make it.
LOVE
As I mentioned in a previous post, my wedding anniversary is coming up and I am SO excited. Next month will mark 15 years of togetherness--15 years since our first date--and this is us on our 2nd one:

Since I have an obsessions with all things Etsy lately...and absolutely adore Farmgirl Paints so much....I decided that I wanted this below for my anniversary present:

And because my husband is--ahem--the opposite of computer saavy--he told me to order it...and so I did.
I can't wait to wear it when we go on our anniversary date...we're going to the restaurant where our reception was held 11 years ago on October 14th....the Chart House.
It's such a treat!
It's hard to believe that it's been 15 years, though easy to believe as well. We've been through so much but all of it has only made us stronger because of our shared love for Christ.
On our 10th wedding anniversary, Tim gave me a card that said this:
and because it's now one of my favorite things ever (can you say romantic?!), I decided to make it into a sign on Photoshop......and I personally love it.
Do you?
I have developed a love for signs like those seen on Pinterest, and in the interest of not spending money, I am going to attempt to make some myself. So like I said, I made the one above, but I have more in the works.
Now these are on paper for now but eventually I will venture to the wood signs that I adore....because I am crafty like that ; )
My favorite thing about Tim is that he can make me laugh when I am in tears, when I am angry, when I feel sick, when I am tired, and even when the world feels like it's about to fall on me.
Even when I am angry at him. Now if you ask me, I say that's talent!

Congratulations on your milestone of time together. You're soooooo right, it goes so quickly. I'm so happy that you have such a great man in your life!! Enjoy your date! And I love that card he gave you...AND that you kept it!
It is so ironic that I began following your blog when mastocytosis was a possbility for my son. (They're now looking into eosinophilic disorders.) And now, ya'll may have mito, like my daughter (she's adopted, so no one else in the family has it). We're a couple years into mito, but there is so much to learn and so little good information out there. I did run into a blog the other day that has been very helpful. It's from a mom that has three kids with mito. The oldest is 18, so she's been at this a while. In this post (http://scorchedplaces.blogspot.com/2011/09/catching-up-mito-awareness-week.html), I have links to several of her posts that I found to be very informative. You might want to check them out sometime as you are gathering information. Also, there's a lot I'm still learning, but you can ask me questions any time.
