We're headed to the beach to do our schoolwork
(but admittedly, this picture is not from today--we haven't gone yet!)
and we're so excited.
We've always talked about doing it but we've never done it.
Until this afternoon.
Hopefully we'll actually get some work done...I'll report it with pictures of course ; )

I've got beach on the brain lately....but who wouldn't with an extended backyard like this?
The beach refreshes me.
It makes me new.
Noise disappears into the crashing waves
Anxieties slip away with the setting sun
My soul is quieted
I gain perspective
His creation a masterpiece
soothing in ways that nothing else can.
Relish it.
Live it
Breathe it
Get carried away in it
A treasured gift!

Beautiful pictures of the scenery! Especially the ones with the sun setting - the oranges, reds, and yellows just add to the beauty!
The pictures of your kids are so cute and natural. The one of the four of you facing the water looks like a sweet moment. Definitely one to be framed and hung up (just a suggestion if it hasn't already been done).
Lovely pictures!! The colors are so vibrant, so beautiful. And I agree -- the one of your family looking at the water -- that one needs to be framed.
